Royal Free out-patient audiology – service changes

Out-patient appointments

The Royal Free has switched to virtual appointments (by telephone or video), or where clinical teams feel that it’s safe to do so, rearranged or cancelled appointments.

Patients should attend their appointments if they do not hear from the Trust.

Replacement hearing aid batteries and tubing

The Trust will post replacement batteries and does not need a patient’s old battery or battery request book.

Tubing will be posted for custom made earmoulds and micro-tubes with instructions.

Patients can request replacement batteries and tubing as follows:

Royal Free Hospital

Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals

These above points of contact are monitored 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
